Why roseart fucking sucks. The wax is too hard so the color doesn’t lay down without getting all squeaky and shit. And the color also isn’t as vivid for the same reason. The hard wax keeps it from penetrating the paper.

As in, I would rather color with my own blood than use them.i remember when i was little people would get me art supplies as gifts… it was really nice but if they got me roseart i immediately held a grudge. roseart is terrible and if you ever wish to please an artist avoid buying them.

As an artist who sees her art materials as SRSBSNS, this post made me nod and LOL.
The Crayola/Roseart gap was the most open acknowledgement of socioeconomic dissimilitude that elementary school had to offer.
I will never ever buy my daughter Roseart crayons. NEVER. I remember how angry I was as a child every time someone gave me Roseart stuff instead of Crayola.
The difference in their colored pencils is just as striking. Crayola all the way. (I use Prismacolor pencils now, but I’M AN ADULT.)

ALSO, FUCK ROSEART.so that’s why i’ve never heard of roseart. they didn’t even bother importing it here on a wide-scale.
Roseart also would NEVER LEAVE even when you threw them away. Clean up your room and you’ll always find like, ten roseart crayons, unused because they are the Chad Michael Murrays of the crayon world.
